It's WHITE RIBBON WEEK at Draper One and Draper Two!
We are learning all about the POWER we have over our media choices/online safety/screen time!
We have learned that we have the POWER to turn it off, talk to a trusted adult (parent), and turn to something ACTIVE when we see something that makes us uncomfortable or scared online. We played TIC TAC TOE to remember those three steps.
We also learned we have the power to TURN IT OFF to avoid too much screen time! We want to be healthy and balanced and have good mental health, so we know limiting our screen time each day and doing OTHER great activites will help us be happy! We blasted through a "brick wall" today to remind ourselves that with determination and discipline, we can make great choices with our screen time!
